Maple Flavoured Egg Tea

Ingredients:

110g maple twigs (sung kei sang, rinsed), 10g licorice sticks, 15 red dates, 8 hard-boiled eggs (shelled), 120g Chek Hup Diamond Rock Sugar, 80g Chek Hup Diamond Cane Rock Sugar, 2L water

Method:

  1. Boil maple twigs, licorice sticks and water in a pot for 40 minutes.
  2. Add red dates and both Chek Hup Diamond Rock Sugar and Diamond Cane Rock Sugar, cook till dissolved and the flavour is developed.
  3. Serve hot with the hard-boiled eggs.
